    Two trips to the field

Went to the same field yesterday and today. It's and old field with a lot of history, but has been hunted for years by many people. There was already two guys detecting when I got there today, and another showed up after I was there a while. These are my finds. The KG is in pretty good shape compared to other coppers I have found here.

congrats on the KGII copper Earle , I'm assuming an 1740's or 50's date on it ?? great pattern on the shoe buckle frame fragment .

Wow, seems like that field still has lots to offer! Very nice finds! What's that bottom thing? What's the date on the KG? Lots of meat on that one

Thanks for the coments guys. Dan, I thought the date was 1730, but I guess it's not. I cleaned it up a bit, and it looks like it's a 1740. I have no idea what the thing on the bottom is Drew. I will clean that also and maybe able to ID it.
