    Indian Barber And Eagle Button!

We went out last Monday for a quick hunt and to check out a new site. I got a three Wheat Cents with 1913 the oldest, always enjoy find “century coins” and a button

Diane did very well with an Eagle button

She also found a nice token “Hooker” and on reverse “Good For 5 Cents In Trade”, an 1897 Indian and chewed up Barber Dime!

Great stuff Bell-Two . I wonder if that " Hooker" token has anything to do with General Hooker .I don't want to be too specific here but if you read up on him you will see how is name came to be widely used in a certain profession . If this token was used for barter in those certain activities you may have quite historic collectible there . You and your crew have really been making some great finds .

Wow, that token is really unique! The pennies are nice finds, especially the IH. Too bad about the barber-if it weren't for the damage it looks to have been in great condition with little wear.

i know about General Hooker but I don't think that this is connected to that. Most likely a local business that I haven't yet pinned down yet.
