Group Hunt Dec. 26th in a Chicago Park / Sterling Chain

I met up with Hiluxyota, Coin chaser and 4 other detectorists to hunt a Chicago park. It rained off and on most of the day, but at least it wasn't snow. I dug my first coin about a half hour into the hunt, an 1898 Indian. A while later I dug an old Ford hub cover. We moved across the street to another part of the same park. After a couple of wheats, I dug a chain bracelet that i thought was maybe stainless. It rang up in the 12-30s. This morning i got out the loop and it is in fact, stamped Sterling. Cool!
The last coin I dug before lunch was a 1937 Merc.

After a rain delay and then lunch, I got back out and dug an 1897 V nickel and a 64 Canadian penny in pretty short order.
That was it for me. Nothing but clad and bottle caps the rest of the day.

It definitely was a good day. I didn't quite make the roll of Indians this year. I was thinking of you when I found 49. Dug a lot of Zincs the last hour trying. LOL
