    First silver of 2016

Headed out to the woods at Frances park in Lansing.
My first dig was a 1964 Washington.
Also got a small sterling ring for my first 925 of 2016.
Ended with .03 in clad and a 41 wheat.

Awesome start to 2016! And it is still January! That is a very pretty ring...my little girls would be hounding me for that one!

If you are able to dig near Lansing then I should be able to dig pretty soon too as I am an hour or so east of you. I thought about bringing my detector to work today but I tested the ground near me this morning and even though we had a bunch of rain and temps in the 40's over night it was still pretty solid. Maybe later this week or next. Forecast looks like we are in for warmer than normal temps.
Detectors I use: Minelab Equinox 900 & Manticore
    Favorite finds I have made:
    1,000+ silver coins
92pcs of 1700's Trade Era Silver
    Copper Culture Indian Artifacts
125+ War of 1812 Era buttons and relics
    My wife
(probably should have started with that one)
