    Some simple finds...

This weeks digs. First silver coin of the year ( a 1942 War Nickel ),,, a 10K gold plated Navy Cadets anchor pin from WW2,, a couple of wheat cents,, a charm candy presidential token featuring Calvin Coolidge,,, and a thimble are the keepers. On the way home I stopped off at a thrift shop and found a jar that counts the coins as you put them in,,, a perfect way to keep track of how much clad I find.

I haven't found a thimble yet, but it's on my list. That was a nice find.

Sweet finds! I'm a little partial to war nickels because those were one of the first coins my dad taught me to be on the look out for. Waiting now to dig my first one
