    4 silver weekend

I got out this weekend to that same old park I have been working recently and did quite well. Nothing too old but I had lots of fun especially since it is still February. Ended up with 2 silver Rosies, a War Nik and a chunky silver ring. I managed my first indian of the year too a 1906 in crappy condition and a 1909 plain wheatie.

I also found an old brass lock. I have seen people dig these up in the past but I am not sure how old it really is.

Looks like winter is coming back with a vengeance later this week....back to research on old spots.

Nice finds Bucknut. Agree with Don that that ring was the winner of that hunt for you. Like you said, has some meat to it. Congrats.

Just getting out this time of year is quite a accomplishment, but to bag 3 silvers, a beefy silver ring, and a 110 year old penny qualifies as a killer hunt!!
    Nice finds!
    Congrats!
