1887 house gets me more silvers!

    Hey diggers,
I finally tracked down the owner of an older house here in town. It is actually next door to the house where I found the 1866 shield nickel last year. Turns out this yard had been detected before also but that doesn't deter me at all. The back yard was devoid of any signals (good or trash) but I did manage a single wheat cent.

As I moved closer to the house I started getting all the iron signals from all the roofing nails and stuff that is usually there. I heard a tiny squeak between the nails and was very happy to pop a 1907 barber dime from 6 inches. A few feet away I got a 12-44 at only 3 inches. I dug down thinking it was probably a memorial cent and was shocked to see a thin mercury dime! I closed the plug and stood up to swing and got an identical signal right next to it at about 6 inches. Yep, another thin mercury dime!

I worked back over to where I had found the barber and only a foot away got a scratchy signal at 7 to 8 inches deep. I couldn't tell if it was a coin or just iron falsing. I decided to dig anyway and saw a tiny silver disk pop out of the hole! WOW, 4 silvers in a row. I didn't find any other old coins and only a few moderns ones. Here is a pic and thanks for looking, Dave.
