Got some good keepers door knocking today

    Hey diggers,
I did some door knocking and got 2 yesses (and 2 no's). I spent about 5 hours detecting. The first house was a circa 1900 and I got the majority of my finds there. The second house was circa 1853 and I only got a few coins there. I suspect it had been detected before. I found a barber dime there only 3 inches deep and it rang up just like a modern copper cent (12-44). Total take was 12 wheat cents, 3 silvers, an IHC, and a buffalo nickel. Thanks for looking and HH, Dave.

p.s. These 2 barber dimes puts me at 50 barber dimes found (in 7 years of detecting), that's a whole roll!

That's a nice bunch of coins for one day. Congrats on your Barber roll.
I can see how that dog tax tag could have looked like a large cent at first glance.
    Still a very cool find!!

Great finds DD. Congrats on the roll of barbers. Don't want to sound too warm and fuzzy but isn't it a great hobby where you can find 50 of those beautiful coins. It amazes me every time I go out. Great hunt and milestone WD
