    Cool 6 Merc Day

Driftwood, Dime-o-mite, and I got out yesterday for a few hours on a new yard that looked promising. We all scored silver and some other assorted relics. I got lucky and hit a coin spill with 4 mercs in it. It was right next to a large iron ring which may have shielded it from previous hunters. Driftwood and Dime-O-Mite both dug type print blocks. One with letters and the other with just periods. I dug a saw medallion which I suspect is late 19th century. And I threw in a pic of a crotal bell from a previous hunt because every post should just have a crotal bell in it.

Six mercs is nothing to sneeze at, WTG. You are right, every post should have a crotal bell in it, now if I could only find one...

nice bunch of silver ladies and the hand saw medallions are interestingly cool finds as many have different eagle styles or designs .
