finally gave in.....new XP Deus is on the way

I finally took the plunge....New XP Deus is on the way. Being recently retired I decided to treat myself to a new XP Deus , passed my Whites on to my youngest son who is just starting in the hobby. Looking forward to the learning curve with the Deus and some quality time hunting with my son. The bonus for yesterdays hunt....picked two gallon bags full of mushrooms on the hike back to my vehicle.......Happy Hunting !!!

Congrats. I think you will like the Deus. I found the transition to the Deus from the DFX to be pretty easy. As soon as I figured out to trust the tones, it all fell into place pretty quickly.

Good start to the learning curve (IMHO) was to watch all of Gary's Skill School deus videos on youtube. Even though all in England, sure did help simplifi everything about the XP. Great machine. Transformed my hunting over night. Best of luck on the new wand. As a former Whites guy, you're going to love the 2 pound weight. HH
