well i started this adventure with an top of the line harbor freight metal detector lol. really it was a lot of fun my very first coin was a wheat penny very exciting. found a lot of pieces of copper pipe hence the name. found a triangle iron ring in a spot that was a old river ford very cool. so i wanted to have a little better idea of what i was digging so i bought a BH landstar thats what i am using now. it has really made the difference finding coins. all clad or copper but still get a thrill. i live in fort wayne and there is quite a lot of history here and i hope to dig some up.
