    Another Indian Today!

I haven't yet found a lot of good coins. But when I do find one it's been a pretty neat coin. I was at my local school yard again this evening, the same one my daughter found her Buffalo a few months ago(1913). Dug a bunch of coins, but my eyes won't usually let me see what it is till I get home, wash them and get the magnifying glass out. LO and behold I got to looking at this one coin, and thought "wait this isn't a memorial". Got my daughter to come look at it and asked her if it was a wheatie, and she said yes I think so. So I found my jewelers loop to get a real good look and found it said 1883, with an Indian clearly visible. Awesome!! another Indian, that's two now in the 5 months I've been diggingName: 1883 Indian.jpg

Thanks! I've found a couple of cool objects since I got the AT Pro last November. Including a mason jar lid from the Hero Glass Co. dating back to the 1870's, but only two coins, and they've both been Indians, an 1889, and now an 1883.

Thanks Guys! So if I find nothing but IH pennies I'd be happy. It seems I can't find anything else yet.
