Hi all,
Went to one of the oldest parks in the city (dating to around 1850) on the evening of the 4th hoping to find some good drops, but instead I found this pin about 6 inches down in the roots of a tree.

The cross itself is angled like the Knights Templar symbol, but is missing the crown to be the Templar cross. It has the intertwined rose which could mean a rosecrutian symbol, but they use an upright cross and just the rose in the center, no vine or stem. One order of the Masons use a different rose and cross for their 18th degree, which thus isnt. So far I can't seem to find this symbol anywhere. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

I can't help you with the ID yet, but want to say what a great find that is.

Thanks much! It unfortunately came out with the porcelain no longer stuck to the back. But of course the superglue worked it's wonders and it's almost good as new. I was just a bit surprised to still find something old in this park as it's likely been pounded since detectors came on the market.
