I went out Saturday in the scorching heat because I finally had a weekend day off. I hit a few houses and this is what I found.
The Ring and pocket knives were from an after work hunt last week.

The heat is brutal but it still is worth getting in some swing hours. Nice hunts Don. You are definitely the Indian Head Master. Great Barber dime as well. Nice finds as usual. PS, great video on the return of the WWI relic. WD

Some great finds there! I've always been partial to those Largies since they are so difficult to find in the midwest. I agree, the heat has been pretty brutal, but I'm not complaining. I can detect in the heat, but can't swing with 4 feet of snow.

Nice total of finds. Grats on getting a largie. Last year of those bad boys. My latest barber dime was a 1911 too. That pocket knife I almost thought was the Waterville brand (where I pulled up the 1843-50ish style however the 1913 had the shield almost like swiss army).. until I saw the logo. That's prob an aquamarine stone in the ring.
Future goals: Capped bust coin, Flowing hair LC, Classic head LC, VT copper, MA copper, Pistareen, Two-cent pc, SLQ, GW inaugural button, Excelsior button, Civil war token, and a gold ring.
Don, some great finds for braving the heat. The knife without the shield is a switchblade(pretty sure). It's been quite a while since I have put an IH in my pouch, hoping to change that real soon.
