    Civil War Token Night Hunt

    I made it out tonight after work for about 40 minutes to hit some new dirt recently moved around at a spot I have been going to for awhile. I saved these from the clutches of the earth!

    Oldest silver: 1853 Half-dime & 1876S Seated Quarter / Oldest coin: 1849 US Large Cent / 1854 Upper Canada One Penny Bank Token

    Great job! Don't see many Civil War Store Tokens.

    Darren, very nice saves. I have to agree that the CWT's aren't readily found. I noticed that some sidewalks are torn up in my neighborhood and I will be hitting them tomorrow.

    Nice token find. I'd like to find a CW era one. Only got an early 1800s and then 1900s tokens.
    Future goals: Capped bust coin, Flowing hair LC, Classic head LC, VT copper, MA copper, Pistareen, Two-cent pc, SLQ, GW inaugural button, Excelsior button, Civil war token, and a gold ring.
