Hello from Southern Indiana

Hello all ... I decided to join this forum to help keep me motivated and to sharpen my skills. As a wise person once told me "A man that learns from 10 wise men is 10 times smarter than a know it all." I have been detecting for 6 years now, not any civil war sites or fancy beaches here, but still fun adventuring old homesteads, woods and parks. Oldest fined:1892 dime. Most unique find:1937 seagram's medallion. Currently hunting with a V3I (6x10 eclipse,10'dd), AT pinpointer, Whites digging trowel and a 26' small shovel.

Welcome from western MA. I also am a V3i user....love it. Looking forward to seeing your finds and your future participation on the forum.

Welcome to the forum!

I've had a couple of metal detecting road trips through southern Indiana via Vincennes, Washington, Loogootee and other towns across Route 50.

We're glad you joined us.

Welcome from Wisconsin! Sounds like you have made some nice finds. Looking forward to some great pics and stories. We have many experienced folks here with knowledge always willing to share. Happy hunting and good luck!

Yes it is ... I go to New Harmony once in a while, it is an old town as well.

I love New Harmony. We went there for a wedding earlier this year and stayed at the resort. We went a day early and rented a golf cart so we could see all of the sites around town.
