    First GOLD of 2017 and it's 24K !

Well it looks like for now the rain has stopped here in Northern California . So out I went for a hunt at a local school . A few coins here and there and a plated junk ring found. About one hour in I had a +35 at 3 inches . I pulled back the plug and saw sweet GOLD . It is a nice little pendent that looks like a snow flake . Next I thought I had gold number two but it turned out to be a junk chain . When I got home I tested the pendent and it pasted 22k no problem ! I believe it is 24k due to the fact that it is very bendable like 24k would be . I don't have acid to test for 24K . It weighs 2.79 grams , heavy for it's size . Total clad was $3.70 .
