    Hiya!
    A series of short after work hunts produced-
    '80,'89, '06 IHs
    Two dateless buffs.
    Two pieces of jewelry with blue stones.
    Two heel plates.
    Large bell button.
    Colonial cufflink.
    and the best find was an eagle infantry button with gold still on it.

    Very nice hunts, that infantry button is sweet! Interesting looking jewelry too. Those indians sure look to be in great shape. Congrats!

    Thanks, Chris! As I'm putting the stuff away it hit me that the large blue rhombus stone thing is also a cufflink!

    Nice finds, Drew! I really like that Eagle Infantry button. Rarely do you see them with any gilt left on them. Great piece of history!

    That's a beauty Drew! What Tony said......you hardly ever see them with any gold left on them. Nice cufflink too!

    Nice set of finds Drew! Man, love that Eagle I. I'm sure you were pumped when you saw that beauty pop out of the ground. I know I was when I found my first last year. Congrats sir!

    No mention of the ox knob? Lol. Nice finds, Drew. Interesting how both pieces have blue stone. Just an oddity they are both the same as I am guessing they are lost by two different people. I braved the cold for a few finds. But my feet were perfectly warm. Two layers pants and socks, 4 layers of shirts, face mask, cold condition gloves, and hand/feet warmers and I was good to go. But that wind was still atrocious and forced going back to the car to warm up. (I was not at a cellar hole )

    Very nice eagle button Drew , you can tell there is still a lot of gold hiding under that dirt and stains . You found some good relics !

    Like Jim said, it's interesting to find two pieces of jewelry at a cellar hole, and for both of them to have a blue gem. That's something you'd have a hard time doing again!
