My first pair of cuff links!

Went out yesterday with Danny LaMontagne and Brian Bari. It was a great day for detecting even if it was just a little chilly with the wind. It was also Brian's 48th Birthday and I am so glad I got to share it with him. I found my first pair of cuff links at the first cellar hole yesterday! I am on Cloud 9!Name: 16864842_10208496787120803_5344102497205334058_n.jpg

Thanks Danny! I'm very grateful to you and Brian for letting me tag along with you guys. Honestly, these are the best detecting days of my life and I owe it all to you, my friend.

Fantastic find Donny and congrats to you sir! I've only found the mangled up remnants of half a cufflink. By the way, I can't help but notice that old Clemson hat you wear on your hunts. I'm a SC native transplant to VT and my father played QB for the Tigers back in the late 50s under the legendary Frank Howard. I'm sure you were pumped after the 'Bama game!

Thanks John! Yes, we are die hard Clemson fans! We live, breathe and eat Clemson Football! That was one heck of a game! It was looking bad for the Tigers in the first half but we came back in the second half and pulled off a miracle!Name: 1175630_10200563163945182_885019267_n.jpg

Did you check the dirt for the other stone? Hope so!

I brought home a little bag of dirt to screen but the stone was not in it. It may have fallen out even before the cuff link was lost. One of those little mysteries we will never know.
