Thread: My first Liberty Cap Half Dime!

  1. #1

My first Liberty Cap Half Dime!

Had a great hunt today with a buddy. Lots of diversity, a musket ball, 5 buttons, a wheatie, two Indians (1879 and 1903), an undatable King George II, a 1911 Barber Dime and a 1833 Liberty Cap Half Dime! So happy to check the half dime off the bucket list!

Congrats on the half dime! Looks like you've got a big field to detect there. A return trip, or 2, or 5 looks to be in your future.

Thanks! Actually, that's not even 25% of the farm....it's huge! It's a well known field and the Hoover Boyz even did a video there. It's been hit hard over the last few years, but if you put time in you'll still find stuff. I walked 3.3 miles on the field yesterday over 6 hours.

The guy who invited them to the field is the same guy who showed it to me. If it wasn't for him I would still be digging clad.
