    Congrats on that beautiful War of 1812-era artillery cuff button!

    That is a wonderful piece of history, and so are your other finds. Good job rescuing those relics from the ground!

    the corps button is beautiful "CD" The 1820's eagle button is another good one , what is the piece in the 4th picture middle right side with the hole in it ? got any more pictures of it ?

    My hunting partner said it came off the bottom of a flint lock pistol , it looks like that to me too. Its shaped like it goes on the bottom of the handle of a old pistol.

    Great hunting, how far down was the bass????. All those buttons would make great additions to any collection.

    very possible the reason I was pointing it out . I assume its kind of cup shaped on the other side .

    another homesite with in about the 3 miles of the honeyhole we have pulled 14 military buttons from this site in two trips. The honey hole wound up giving up 35 military buttons so far.
