Size: 75.6 KBHaven't posted in awhile due to many rounds of golf but I found an old ball field from at least the 40's and decided to check it out. The Barber was definitely a surprise.

Nice nabs Mike! Interesting on the Barber, same date as the one I found a few weeks back. Must have been an older home or something on the site before the ball field. Or...it's just a really old field. Congrats.

Nice discovery on the ballfield, now it's time to put the clubs down and start swinging the detector! Nice finds!

Congrats on your finds! I've got two old ball fields close by that are on private property that I've been wanting to get permissions for.

Hi Tony. Only found $3.00 in clad and no wheats or IH pennies! Found both silvers on the edges of the field. Might go back today with my detecting buddy. This place is pretty big with 5 ball fields total, only 1 was in operation in the 40's and was 10 feet underwater in CT's infamous flood of 1955.
