Thread: Washington Cuff Button

    Washington Cuff Button

I was out with the sunrise this AM and it was 37 degrees I went back to my bottle dump site and found it wasn't a dump site after all. Someone just dropped some garbage there 100 yrs ago. After the 26 surface bottles and some iron, there was nothing underneath. Oh well. I started metal detecting and found a few buttons on an old road. One had lots of cloth still attached and one was my 3rd GW cuff button in the last few years. This baby still has the shank and serious gilt on it.
    Thanks for looking, Drew

Nope, haven't used tapatalk...I just downloaded pic to my macbook pro and then tried to attach the file under "manage attachments" as usual. Always worked before....maybe something changed? Tried it using my chromebook too...no dice.

Thanks guys...I probably would have thrown my GW cuffs in with the 100s of buttons I have but for Dan hunting with me one day. He saw my first one was a GW and now I check every button.

Great GW birth commemorative button Drew , you seem to have a knack for finding these ! A little CLR and water ought to get those dirt stains off the gilt . Congrats
