    Bale seal?

Found this today in an old park. Lead with the nice white coating showing it's age. Could only see the detail on camera when wet. Size is a little bigger than a nickel.

Dan, the site was at the old zoo which dates back to the 1880s or so. But before that I'm pretty sure it was farm field, possibly back to the 1830s or so.

Anyone know of an online database or have a book to loom up the marks? I'm at a loss here using Google.
Side 1 has what looks like a Griffin inside a shield, under a crown.
Side 2 has what looks like "18A" on the top, with "370" below. The 8 on top is odd looking, could be a "&" maybe? Someone else here at work looked and think it says "T&A"
