    Is there anyplace you go that you don't find military buttons ? That is a beautiful SC button and I believe the Navy is around 1830's ! some nice old relics in the picture too I like the little buckle as well

    That ring is a killer! I am pretty that it is period, and a one-of-a-kind relic. I have seen one other relic with 3 intertwined snakes that was thought to have been from the Ambulance Corp. Nice North Carolina button as well.

    Thanks guys. I would love to find some info on it. My hunting partner says I can dig a confederate button out of a bag of potting soil from home depot..

    Great finds as usual, CD. I hope someone can ID that ring because I think I may have found something similar. Me thinks Victorian era but that is just a guess.

    Sure do like that button and all the other relics. Now as far as being snowed in....but if you could just mail that button to me I would feel a whole lot better.....
