    unidentifiable ?

I haven't got a clue on this one , I found at a fresh scrape by the bay .The pieces of thread next to it were in the hole of the object held there by mud ( may have been used as a fishing weight )It ID'd as a dime on the M6 . Two hours and this is all I got plus 4 memorials , 1 Zinc and a strange dog tag ." Toast "as a dog name ? That's a new one on me . 415 also happens to be one of the local area codes .Name: IMG_0945 (640x480).jpg

Looks to me like half an old style large lobster claw snap hook. As for the name, I've known a few odd dog names like "gum" and "divot".
