Hi all,
Well, I had hopes for a new location today that is the location of a couple wrecks including one of the 1715 fleet. These beaches are stepped so have the lower level near the surf line, and then a steep bank up towards the back dune line. There's apparently been some big wave action before I arrived here because the beaches are loaded with seaweed and trash about half way to the dune line, and it's so thick it's very difficult to walk over. The surf the past few days has also been rough, making not only swinging a chore, but trying to recover one of the rare signals is often a futile endeavor. Because of the water, I've been only using the CTX with the 17" coil.
Anyway, not a whole lot to show. I did manage some clad and more sinkers. Plus I did eyeball a few nice shells for the take home souvenirs. The down side is that I'm really sore from so many hours walking the soft sand and swinging that much. I do use the pro swing which helps the arm, but still trying to dial in the fit. My shoulder is so stiff tonight I can hardly move, and the leg cramps are setting in. Guess I should mention the sunburn is also taking it's toll. Nonetheless, I'll be back at it tomorrow at another wreck location. I've also included a screenshot of the local weather, so no complaints since it's in the low 40s back home.
