    Capped Bust Half Dime!

Bucket-lister!!! Started slow this morning as I went over areas I've already been...just to double check. Got a small flat button. Then the adjacent field started producing! First another beat copper, then the early shoe buckle, then ten feet away from the buckle I thought I had the missing tongue but out popped an 1834 CAPPED BUST HALF DIME!!! 20 yds from last week's seated half! I cleaned that one up a little and added pics. Thanks!!

Thanks, everyone! John, I don't remember the exact numbers but I do recall thinking it was the tongue that was missing on the buckle I had just found...or a button.

Sharp coin! Its funny how when looking for a missing piece of another item you just dug you tend to ignore ( atleast i do) the chances its not the missing piece but something else, always the best surprise when something great pops out. That sir is something great congrats.

Whoa!! Now that baby is crisp!!
It'd been nice to find that tounge piece, but I guess a bucket lister will do!!
And that tounge is probably still there somewhere
A couple of killer finds Drew!
    Congrats!

And the toning on the reverse side almost looks like there was another coin stuck to it. You did recheck your hole didn't you?
