Tribe of Indians with Digger Don and Noah

I got out with Don and Tim this past Saturday for some door knocking. It was a chilly 20 degrees and there was a light dusting of snow on the ground, but it wasn't really that bad. The ground was mostly thawed still, fortunately.

I ended up with five Indian Head Cents dated 1881, 1888, 1900, 1907 and 1908. I also got a 1945-S Mercury Dime and a spill that contained a 1967 Kennedy Half and a 1964 Washington Quarter.

    It was a fun day!

That's a really nice group of coins Tony. I think that's only the second 40% Kennedy half I've seen dug in ten years now (the other one was mine). I hate detecting when it gets that cold because my finger tips start hurting and then I lose all my joy in detecting! Best wishes and HH, Dave.

I have agree about the scarcity of the 40% Kennedy. Great bunch of keepers. Hope you'll still be able to dig in the near future....pretty frozen ground here.

I know it was not the same hunt but how rare is it that you and Don both got a 40% in the same week. Great bunch of coins. WD

Actually, that post was from a couple of years ago. ( I probably should have mentioned that)
Dave posted that thats only the second 40% half that he's seen posted, so I posted that one just to say " hey, I got one too"
    Sorry for the cofusion!
