2 More Silvers Today at the 1600's Siege Site

    Hey Diggers,
All our snow from yesterday melted overnight. I headed back to the siege site to see what else I might find. Mostly musket balls the first 4 hours and then 2 silver coins right before I had to leave. The 1637 is a real beauty and definitely one of my favorites. The 1688 was on the surface (just under the leaves) and rang up a meager 35 on the XP Deus! I'm sure other detectorists probably thought it was yet another tiny piece of foil and passed right over it! Here's some pics. Thanks for looking and happy hunting! Dave.

It will get sickening if you hit the 400 year mark on silver (or have you already). The stuff you are finding is beyond amazing. There definitely were some ugly dudes in charge back then. Congrats on the continual great recoveries WD (Oops never mind 800 hundred year silver)

    Al,
I'm at 47 silvers on the year with only one more chance to detect before December 31st. I hadn't thought about it but I totaled them up by centuries and was a little surprised at the distribution!
