    My first hunt of 2019

Noah and I revisited a town that we hunted a couple of years ago. Wow, talk about a rough day! Nobody seemed to be home Saturday.
We hunted all day and did manage to get onto a few properties, but the pickens were slow. I managed to dig 2 silver dimes at one house and then a silver ring later in the day.

Any silver in January is good silver!!

I also dug this Chinese thingy, not sure what it is.

Not too shabby for a early January hunt! Usually froze out so it's all gravy right now. Congrats Don. Any chance you can post some group shots of your 2018 finds? Something for us to drool over? HH, Dave

I'd say that's a decent start to the year! That Chinese thing looks like it was part of a string of coins, probably part of a bracelet. I can't tell if the coin is genuine or a reproduction though.

We've been lucky to have mild weather and thawed ground so far this winter. Let's hope it stays that way!

    Congrats on the finds!
