    Flat buttons...

We dug 42 buttons in 3 hours from this site and my buddy tagged a nice War of 1812 R button in the video.https://youtu.be/fAQ1Oaba75AName: DSCN0164.jpg

One time...at band camp... . no seriously...one time with Dan and George I dug 20 buttons in about 3 hours and none of us found a copper, or a coin if I recall correctly. 42 is off the charts!!! I hope there is more area there...I'll check out the vid when I get home. Congrats, Calabash!

Funny thing the guy who took me there said they had dug close to 500 buttons off the whole site and not one military button... My buddy scored the first known military button from there. War of 1812 R button. Out of those 500 a GW was one of them.
