    1st Copper Of 2019!

Got out for a bit today to a new spot. 1st hit was the small button along the rock pile to the foundation. After a while I t went quite so I switched over to my 6x10DD coil.

Was going back over the foundation rocks and got a great signal. Brushed the leaves away and the copper was right on the surface.

I then went into the cellar and got another great signal on the floor right where the wall was. Brushed away the frozen leaves with my shovel to discover the dandy was sticking out of the frozen ground & I dinged it slightly.

Was a great day to get out but the ground was pretty frozen down about 2" in spots.

    HH!

Love the button, great design on it. The copper looks toasted though. I wonder if frost action pushed those items up to the surface. Happy hunting! Dave.

Very nice Roger. Looks like an intentional small notch on the copper. Not sure though. Great to see you could get out for a bit!

Thanks! I soaked it in warm water then dish soap with a tooth brush to removed the outer crud. After that Andre's pencils, a rinse with warm water & then a nice coating of Ren Wax.
