My First Silver of the Year

    Hey Diggers,
My first silver coin of 2019 was found in a plowed field. It's a hammered coin and it's a little beat up from the plow but I'll gladly take it! It dates to 1659 or 1660 and was minted in Trier. Trier was a city-state and considered to be it's own country at that time. The coin is a 1/2 Albus and depicts St. Peter holding the key to heaven in his right hand and in his left hand is the book of life.
