    My first silver thimble

It was great to finally get out today to move a little dirt. I went to the old farm and dug up a lot of nails and stuff. I did finally get my first silver thimble.

It's always nice to find silver amongst all the trash.

Thanks everyone, I was able to straighten it out and cleaned it. I found the makers mark MKD sterling on the inside. Found the exact same one on ebay for 39.95.

Hey Robbie, I think I see an old saddle bag adornment in the first pic between the thimble and the D buckle. Congrats on the bucketlister!
