    1631 Hammered Silver coin

    Hey Diggers,
I found this beauty about 7 inches deep at the 1600's siege site. It's a bit worn but still quite legible. It is a 3 Kreuzer and features King Ferdinand III, House of Habsburg, Austria. This coin was issued when he also became King of Bohemia. Thanks for looking and HH, Dave.

Nice find Dave! Man, what were these folks doing back then. "Hey, lets go lay siege to this fort, and by the way I'll just keep all the change in my pocket!"
