    Conneticut Trip

Was invited to tag along with Don and Al and had a terrific time. Wish we could have met everyone. Thanks for meeting up with us Del for the first day! Ended up with a buckle and a large cent turned "special token." The rest of the trip we door knocked which was tough. Short and sweet, here are my silver finds with a few favorites (1797 half reale, 1857 seated dime, 1905 S barber dime, 1917 standing liberty quarter, Washington quarter, Canadian dime, Roosevelt dime, 1902 barber half dollar. 1822 bank token. Coin/token with the word Bennette on both sides and no date large cent. May post some more of the other items for identifications.

Well done, you got a lot of good silver and some Spanish too! I'm glad you had a good trip and got to meet some of our forum members back east. Looking forward to seeing the rest of your sideways pictures from the trip. LOL.

You had an amazing trip, Tim! It would take me years to find a variety of old coins like that! You went looking for stuff from the 1700s and you found it with the 1797 Half real. Awesome! The 1857 Seated Dime is a great find as well, not to mention the 1917 SLQ and the Barber Half!

I would love to see better photos of the front and back of the 1822 Bank Token.

Congrats on all the great finds!

Great finds! Nice assortment of coins. Just standing on ground in Eastern USA would be exciting with all the history. Glad you had a great time!
