Tim, that coin looks great. When you first posted this I asked if it was a variety 1 (without the stars on reverse) and I still don't know...how about a pic of the reverse.

Wow, that one is a looker!

What a beautiful coin! Like Al said, I would also like to see a picture of the reverse. Is it a Variety I or a Variety II?

    Awesome find!

That is a SWEET SLQ! The prettiest US coin type in my opinion.

I think it is a type 2. The type 1's were bare breasted which was one of the reasons why they changed them...to cover up lady liberty. I think I'm right but I could be wrong.
Detectors I use: Minelab Equinox 900 & Manticore
    Favorite finds I have made:
    1,000+ silver coins
92pcs of 1700's Trade Era Silver
    Copper Culture Indian Artifacts
125+ War of 1812 Era buttons and relics
    My wife
(probably should have started with that one)

D'oh! I knew that! You're right, of course. You can clearly tell that it's a Type 2 from the obverse.

Unfortunately she's "covered" and she has the stars on the back BUT BUT still my best slq ever. I've found quite a few slick ones, and 1927 for some strange reason.
