    A Button & A Buckle

Got out on Sunday with Frank. Got these 2 items. Any idea how old the buckle is & what it was used for?

Roger, that buckle looks old. Looks close to #28 in Dan's buckle resource, which dates it at late 1600s, and has an "English context."
