2 Copper Day & Yes MORE Buttons!

Got out for a bit today as the temps were much cooler and the rain really helped + I was laid off a month ago. Went back to the site I've been pounding. 1802 & KGII + 12 more buttons.

Yellow jackets were out & about and spotted 3 nests in time w/o getting stung, WHEW! Mosquitos & deer flies were out in numbers as well.

    Totals for this site are: 45 buttons, 6 LC's (4 DB's, 1 MH & 1 KGII), 1 IH, 1V & 1 Silver Washington.

    HH,
    Roger

Awesome finds and glad you didn't get stung. That would make for a bad day. Watching some of the YouTube channels, you can see the flies are out in the woods out East. They just started coming out here in WI a few weeks back. Annoying....

Thanks guys! Just an FYI, do NOT use Andres pencils on coppers, scratches the hell out of them, even with me being gentile with them. The only one I like is the steel wool brush in the set.

Jeepers, finding a DB in that condition is blood pressure rising in CT too! Imagine if one was found in IL, with that dirt...wooowzers!
You have a wonderful site there, Roger. Looks like an 18th century, up to the CW. I've never found a pipe piece. Sorry to hear about the lay-off. Best of luck finding your new gig!

Thanks Drew! I've got a 2nd interview on Monday but also have a few other jobs I've applied for. The printing industry isn't what it used to be.

outstanding amount of buttons and two coppers is great my friend .

Roger I've been there with lay-offs , bot it took me a while to find something and settle into decent place that I was happy with . I hope you too can find a place that treats you well and pays decently.
