These "cut corner plates" have been up before to much debate on their true usage . Some experts suggest they are used on anything from furniture , leather bound travel trunks to even cross shoulder chest plates .What I find puzzling is on almost every example no markings ( names , addresses or even pictures or motifs) are on these items whatsoever .
