    Starting a Buckle Thread!

    Hi Diggers,
    Post your Buckle Pics here!

    I was sorting my finds for 2018 and decided to lump all my buckles together. I never really found old buckles before I moved to Germany so I didn't realize just how much I liked them! To me, they are little works of art! These are all 1600's and 1700's (mostly shoe buckles). Thought I'd share the pics with you. I also have several Medieval buckles 1200's to 1500's but they are not in these pictures.

    Dave's buckles are fantastic. But check out these beauties!

    Oldest find: 5,000 year old copper spearhead
    Oldest coin: 1699 William III halfpenny
    Purdiest coin: 1832 Capped Bust quarter
    Coolest find: USA button with blue threads still on shank
