    Nice Buckle Spill

Just spent 5 days detecting in Bavaria and have MANY amazing finds to share with you. We were detecting a section of woods full of medieval relics and these 2 buckles popped up! Our German guide says they are 1500's for sure. My guess is horse tack buckles because they seem to be a bit beefy for human clothes. Also, I found many medieval horse shoes and oxen shoes there. I love the patina on these buckles.

p.s. did I mention the spill of 174 medieval silver coins from the 1300's?
