    Armor piercing crossbow bolt

    Hi Diggers,
Thought I would share this with you. One of my German detecting buddies found this recently and gave it to me (I did the electrolysis and cleaning though). It's a crossbow bolt meant to pierce armor and dates to between the 10th and 13th centuries. This is the kind of gift that any detectorist likes to receive!
