Thread: So happy!

    So happy!

A week ago Thursday my wife successfully ended her year-long battle with cancer!! She is cancer-free and just doing Immunotherapy now. Needless to say, I haven't been hunting as much as I'd like...but this past week I was back at it...even with temps hitting 13 degrees at times, the ground only froze in certain spots.
I've been hunting a park, but it's a park "with a history." The tombacs were in a colonial field.

Today, I met another detectorist who was as pleasant as can be...I told him about our little slice of internet heaven and I hope he stops by. Thanks for looking!

That last picture should not be included...I must have clicked on the wrong file. I thought I was adding a CT Turnpike token I found.

Great news...nice. The Armed Forces medal is pre-USAF (formed 1947) as they are still under the USAAF on the medal. Cool.

So good to hear about your wife's recovery Drew! And in time for the holidays which is all the more special! Always intrigued on your park finds. We can't find squat up here in old parks.
