Last Hunt of 2019 & First Hunts of 2020

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, the last couple of months have been quite busy for me.

Noah and I got out for a few hours the Saturday after Christmas and I managed to dig 3 Indians and a Rosie

2020 has been a little rough for us. Our first hunt we started at 9:00 in the morning and didn't turn our machines on until after 1:00 in the afternoon. we drove south hoping to find a spot where there was no snow on the ground. I think maybe we a little to eager to get in our first hunt of the year. We finally found a yard and got a yes!! My first silver of the year was a 1937 merc followed by a rosie.

Last weekend the weather conditions were a bit better and most of the snow was gone. I was able to dig a couple more silvers

Good to see a post from you Don. I got one of the American Legion tokens a couple years ago (for a different town). Don't find many of them so they must be fairly rare. Best wishes for 2020 my friend!

Still a good start to the year Don. I'd rather start slower than expected and finish stronger through the year than vice versa!

I'm not sure how I missed this post. In spite of the slow start you had a good beginning to 2020, Don! I love that American Legion token! I've never found one before. That is an awesome find. Of course the Indians and slivers are nothing to sneeze at either. Good job!
