Couple good finds from new spot

I met up with Tom and Russ and we tried a new section of woods. Signals were few and far between but I managed a couple good keepers in a 3-hour hunt. The medieval pewter button came out of the ground looking really good. The soil there was that red clay so that might be why it is so well preserved. Of course I LOVE the old shoe buckles and they are always welcome in my pouch. The mangled 1765 silver coin I found a couple days ago. I just don't understand how these coins got so damaged before they were lost! Thanks for looking and happy digging.
