    First few hours with simplex

Got the simplex out to a faithful site, managed a few wheaties, a 1956 Rosie, a silver escutcheon piece ( the picture doesn’t do it justice the hand engraving is really nice) a WW1 national army pin & a radnor hunt club pin back marked Waterbury button co circa 1860 ( a lot of gold guild left). I also managed a good amount of trash more than usual because I’m not familiar with this machine, all and all I’m happy with the machine I’m not “impressed” yet but I have the feeling by the end of the year if nothing breaks ( I have that effect on machines) I will be! it will if nothing else pay for itself.

The Simplex seems pretty capable. Love that hunt club pin.
