    Is This The Coolest Shoe Buckle You Ever Saw?

    Hey Friends,
    Today I went back to the 1794 French battle site and found this incredible shoe buckle! It was right next to the dirt road and rang in SO loud I thought for sure it was a smashed beer can! I'm thinking something this fancy had to belong to a French Officer (since the enlisted were dirt-poor). So what do you think? Best buckle ever?

    It is gorgeous, Dave! So ornate and the patina is incredible! It's definitely one of the nicest buckles I've seen.

    Best buckle ever? I'm not even sure that's the best buckle that you have found Dave. That is indeed one fine buckle !

    Definitely one of the BEST EVER! The jade patina is ridiculous!

    I would bet it older than 1794 by its size unless it was a woman's type .it has some great patina and design , I love it
