    Big silver bucket lister

I snapped the toggle switch off my V3i and sent it off to Virginia to the repair shop. It took a month to get it back because the repair guy had Covid for 10 days!! He got well and so did my machine. I thought I would visit a park my grandson has swim lessons at and was rewarded with a dateless copper (the 1st signal!), my first silver dollar (slightly worn), a wheatie, a silver spoon ring (not old) and a bunch of clad. There’s a carpet of clad and a lot more park to inspect.

Nice spot you have there, Mike, and big congrats on the super large silver!
I read once where those dollars got worn down as guys kept them in their pockets everyday just to show off when ever they reached for something. Nice find!

Wow, two Peace Dollars posted on the forum within two days of each other! What are the odds? Yours is just "slightly" worn, Mike. I agree with Drew, it must have been kept in someone's pocket for years, either as a show off piece or a good luck charm. Either way it's a spectacular find!

    Lifetime totals:
10 Large Cents, 415 Indian Heads, 2 Two Cent Pieces, 1 Capped Bust Half Dime, 1 Seated Half Dime, 10 Shield Nickels, 68 V Nickels, 124 Buffalo Nickels, 31 War Nickels, 16 Seated Dimes, 131 Barber Dimes, 405 Mercury Dimes, 249 Rosies, 4 Seated Quarters, 18 Barber Quarters, 20 Standing Liberty Quarters, 89 Silver Washingtons, 1 Seated Half, 3 Barber Halves, 16 Walking Liberty Halves

WTG Mike, some great finds. I will also agree with the pocket dollar. My dad carried one for over 40 years and I now have it. Sounds like a great park,,,,pound it

Congrats. I was always going to ask the group to post there heaviest wore coins and I had a few good candidates but that coin would of won hands down. Imagine the hands that coin passed through. Congrats on a great recovery. WD

Wow what a spot! That dollar has been around the block a time or two. Coin collectors pay extra for the graded coins that are super worn.
